I have considerately optimized my LinkedIn and Instagram accounts to boost my online presence and professional networks using the strategies learned in the “Search and Social Media Marketing” unit.
Guest Lectures and Real-World Application
I attended a guest lecture by a successful digital marketer, Ben Davies, which was a standout moment for me. During his speech, I comprehended certain things about marketing that are commonly practiced in this everyday world, which made me think: what if I introduced these fresh ideas into my activities? Consequently, not only did this help me broaden my career connections but also gave me the abilities needed to get big positions within this field.
Implementing Digital Marketing Strategies
Following the lecture, I was fortunate to be called as a Social Media Manager by the Drone Champions League and also Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) for a specific event.
That was a chance for me to create and manage a full marketing plan including natural as well as paid advertisement campaigns that have achieved 40 million views so far with 20 million more anticipated soon.
I was responsible for overseeing marketing team, making social media strategy and media staff handling, real life drone racing competitions, including both live and virtual drone racing; and the biggest event of Formula Autonomous Racing League.
I actively participated in creating engaging content strategies and executed them across various platforms, making sure maximum reach and engagement. Under intense pressure, I have learned how to multitask effectively and maintain an eye for detail and new trends.
I also worked with international teams, adjusting our strategy according to different audience needs and standards. This opportunity not only tested my abilities but also expanded my professional network and opened doors to future projects in the technology and E-sports industy.
Influencer and Content Marketing
Also, I have done partnerships for content marketing with social media influencers to do influencer marketing as well as the use of social media so that we can increase the impact on our marketing. Working together with social media influencers in the technology industry who are also involved in car races; we went ahead and expanded how we advertised thus registering a much larger attendance than before for any event organized while watching.
Content Creation and Social Media Management
My strategy was focused on creating detailed content and carefully managing social media, applying content marketing techniques and SEO to increase engagement levels and make sure that content is visible online. This is a testament to all events that were held successfully as well as the fact that these digital content strategies work well when implemented correctly (Jamil et al., 2022), according to knowledge gained from attending university at Salford.
Looking Ahead: Continuous Learning and Development While I am developing my professional brand further, I am conscious that I need to grow my skills and keep pace with fresh digital marketing approaches. My experience at Salford Business School has readied me for current professional challenges and given me the ability to see ahead and benefit from forthcoming digital changes.

It is evident from this experience just how vital the theory we learn in lectures from Salford Business School is for our practical work. It is also clear how much more self-assured I have become and how good I am at innovation, the necessary skills for a successful digital marketer (Li et al.,2021).
