Project Details

Project overview

I lead DCL’s marketing across social channels, content, paid media and digital distribution. In 2025, the channels generated 407.9 million platform-reported content views through combined organic and paid activity. My contribution was to connect audience planning, editorial output, creative testing and reporting into a coordinated programme.

The challenge

DCL’s content serves fans of drone racing, esports and emerging technology across different markets. The challenge was to maintain a recognisable league story while adapting content and distribution to each platform. Race footage, partner campaigns and community content needed clear priorities and a consistent publishing rhythm.

My approach

I set channel direction and coordinated the content calendar with the team. My work connected organic publishing with paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube, including audience planning, creative testing, optimisation and reporting. I reviewed performance to guide subsequent content and distribution choices, while keeping campaign-specific conversion objectives distinct from broader audience activity.

  • 01 407.9M content views

Platform-reported content views across DCL channels in 2025.

  • 02 Organic and paid activity

The total includes both distribution methods; it is not an organic-only result.

  • 03 Coordinated channel delivery

Social content, paid distribution and reporting were managed as connected parts of the marketing remit.

  • 04 Clear measurement boundaries

Views measure content consumption events. They are not unique people, registrations or attributed revenue.

What this work demonstrates

This work demonstrates my ability to lead a sustained marketing programme across creative and performance disciplines. I use results to explain audience response and to guide the next decision, with the metric and reporting period kept visible.
